Plain or Horizontal Milling Machine

In the Horizontal milling spindle or cutter mounted horizontally to the work piece. In horizontal milling spindle are mounted on arbor, and for load carried casting base and colum avilable. This machines are big in size but useful for doingheavy work compare to other.

Vertical Milling Machine:

Universal Milling Machine:

• This type of milling machines are famous because of its wide range of machining operation.
• Critical operation of spur, bevel, spiral, twist drill, reamer, milling cutter can be done easily with Universal machine due to his heavy structure.

Omniversal Milling Machine:

• This milling machines are upgrade version of Universal milling machine in which table can be moved in 4 different direction, knee can be swelled about horizontal  axis to tilt table.
• Two spindle, one is horizontally situated and other one is universal swelling head for great degree of freedom to workpiece.

Duplex Milling Machine:

• In Duplex milling machine two spindle are horizontally rest against workpiece for that reason its called "duplex" milling machines.
• In general milling machines spindle arrangements, knee and table are loaded on single column bur in case of duplex milling two large and heavy column available.
• Table able to move forward and background and mounted on fixed bed. "I section" types machining are easily done by duplex milling machine.
  

Triplex milling machine:

• Like duplex milling machine,  in Triplex milling machine there are three spindle are mounted on three different column.
• In this three spindle two are horizontally mounted and third one is vertically mounted.
